Contributions as Probate Judge of Elmore County
RESPONSE TO WSFA-TV FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST
(The context for this response is that an anonymous tipster, probably a member of the county commission, told WSFA-TV that I was illegally paying money to my employees. In response, WSFA made a comprehensive request for documents from the probate office under the Freedom of Information Act. I provided all that was requested and then some. WSFA received enough information to do several accurate stories relating to the ineptness of the county commission, but none were done.
In the end, the chairman of the county commission admitted in a public newscast that I had done nothing illegal.)
