CORRESPONDENCE WITH MORMON TABERNACLE CHOIR
As might be assumed, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir plans it tours well in advance. In early 2000, I received some correspondence suggesting that the choir might be coming to the State of Alabama for the first time. As a long-time fan of the choir, the prospect of hearing the choir in person in my own home state was exciting. It was at least equally exciting for my golfing friend H. Miracle of Wetumpka, who had worked with choir director Craig Jessop when Craig was directing the Singing Sergeants of the United States Air Force.
By virtue of a church assignment that I had at the time, I ended up having some enjoyable correspondence relating to the choir’s 2001 tour-stop in Birmingham, Alabama.
